Patrick Hughes
The English artist Patrick Hughes has created an extraordinary class of painted artpieces, most commonly referred to as ‘reverspectives’. They consist of truncated pyramids and prisms with their smaller faces closer to the viewer, in such a way as to allow a realistic scene to be painted on them.. Widely recognised as one of the major painters of contemporary British art, he is also a designer, teacher and writer. His works are part of many public collections including: the British Library and the Tate Gallery, London.

I have been a photographer for over 25 years. I started documenting my teenage friends in Notting Hill in the early 1980s and More... then moved into celebrity photography - my book "My World" on David Beckham was my concept, photography and art direction and this bestseller won many awards. I have shot a wide diversity of characters from Harold Pinter to Dennis Hopper, Lisa B to Victoria Beckham and Elisabeth Hurley. As much I love the way I capture celebrity in a real and vibrant way, I am a photographer of people and have as much fun and creative pleasure photographing street kids in Brazil or fishermen in India. Publications I have worked for include: GQ, Glamour, Tatler ,Sunday Times.
