Chris Rogers made his name presenting children's television news programme Newsround, the programme's youngest presenter at 19. In 1997 he was nominated by the Royal Television Society for Young Journalist of the Year for his reports in
More... India on Child Brides and was noted for his reports on the Sudan famine and child workers in Nepal, all of which were also broadcast on the BBC Six and Nine O'clock News. After five years at the BBC Chris joined Sky News where his popularity with Sky viewers ensured him a place reading the news not just for Sky but also for Channel 4's breakfast programme: RI:SE, a Sky production. He left Sky in late 2003 to join ITN as an ITV News Channel newscaster. Chris then became one of the main reporters and newscasters for ITV's London Today/Tonight. He has since become a full time Correspondent for ITV News and can often be heard presenting on BBC Five Live and periodically presents London Tonight. He has also written many articles for the UK's major newspapers with many of his exclusive investigations printed in The Mail on Sunday Live Magazine.
